Established in 1978 as a grass-roots initiative by tennis enthusiasts in Key Biscayne, our association has since evolved into a preferred destination for tennis players in the region. At our facility, members of varying skill levels convene in a convivial atmosphere characterized by enduring relationships. Our establishment has been in operation for almost three decades, providing an enjoyable setting for forging new acquaintances both on and off the courts.
At Key Biscayne Tennis Association, membership is more than just belonging to a community; it's a sense of being part of something special. Our full-service facility boasts nine Har-Tru clay courts, one Deco-Turf hard court, and four illuminated courts to enable night-time play. Moreover, as a good neighbor to the Sony-Ericsson Open, our establishment has drawn the attention of numerous top-ranked players such as Gustavo Kuerten, Marcelo Rios, Justine Henin, Andy Roddick, and Gabriela Sabatini.
Beyond our outstanding court amenities, we offer a pro shop, deck seating, restrooms, ice and vending machines, and excellent professional instruction. Our facility is easily accessible, conveniently located within the verdant golf course of Key Biscayne, and provides ample parking.
The following rules of etiquette rely heavily on common courtesy and should be followed
wherever you are playing tennis. Most of us know the right thing to do, we just need a
gentle reminder every now and then.
Show respect and courtesy
Do not walk onto another court during a game
Do not retrieve your ball from the other court
Leave the court as you found it
Always wear proper tennis shoes
Always wear appropriate clothing
Use the tennis courts for tennis
Use the courts assigned
Absolutely no pets on the courts
Pick up after yourself
Clean your shoes
Always monitor children on the courts
Have fun!
